Welcome to BCHJA
The mission statement of the BCHJA is to support and promote British Columbia's Hunter and Jumper riders at all levels. As a Provincial Association, the BCHJA works closely with Horse Council British Columbia, Equine Canada and the Jump Canada Committee to maintain high standards for our competitions, with safety and good sportsmanship being of primary focus. The BCHJA endeavors to give financial assistance to its members on the basis of excellent performance and to promote education.

Attention Jumper Riders
BCHJA is planning to send two teams to this year's Jumping Young Riders Competitions to be held in Colorado this summer.
- Junior Riders aged 14-18 - 1.40m competition
- Young Riders aged 16-21 - 1.50m competition
Each team will have 4 members. If you are interested in being considered for a team contact Laura Balisky by email laurabalisky@shaw.ca.

Kip Rosenthal Clinics
In April, 37 BCHJA members participated in a clinic given by Kip Rosenthal. Kip is a well known trainer, judge and sports psychologist who has barns in Salem New York and Wellington Florida.
